sportsequip.co.uk has recently been awarded another contract for the London Borough of Bromley to resurface four more of its playgrounds with their Compliant Wet Pour rubber impact absorbing playground surface.
Compliant Wetpour is fully independently tested to the current playground standard BSEN1177 as well as undergoing additional testing for tensile strength and elongation ensuring that the product is as safe and hard wearing as anything available on the UK market.
Compliant Wetpour is available in a range of thicknesses to suit different height equipment and can be finished in either black recycled EPDM rubber or bright coloured EPDM rubber including red, blue, green and yellow.
On two of the Bromley sites sportsequip.co.uk are inlaying intricate designs into the wetpour surface using coloured rubber. Widmore Recreation Ground in Bromley has a “space” theme with planets, spaceman and rockets inlaid. Biggin Hill Recreation Ground close to the famous WWII airfield has inlaid Spitfire aeroplanes included as a tribute to its Battle of Britain heritage.
Work on the surfacing started on site at the beginning of December 2009.
Compliant Wetpour is one of a range of playground surfaces sportsequip.co.uk offer which also include Rubber Play Tiles and Grass Grow Through safagrass Tiles of which full details are provided on our web site.

I like the idea that it is available in a range of thicknesses to suit equipment and has different coloured finishes this gives some variety in the product and variety for the client.
